Chaz (Designz by Chaz or DBC)

 

Chaz started out as Chasity3001 in 2002 on a site called Black Planet. 

In 2003, Chaz purchased a Jasc Paint Shop Pro Anniversary Edition with Animation Shop and spent endless hours with two of her Black Planet  (BP) friends (Designs by Katrina and Flawlezz Dymond) trying to learn the ins and outs of the programs. Back then there was very little knowledge and very little information to really google to learn the program and very few tutorials. Her learning was hands on. So she played with PSP until she felt comfortable. While creating had become a hobby she posted her creations as tags post all over BP. Everyone wanted to know how she did what she did and most had a lot of questions about learning the program.   

Back then,  posting was basically HTML codes so she taught herself how to create and design personal profile pages on BP as well as onMY Space  and to create pages using her own personal graphics she created in PSP.  After a few months of questions she then created a yahoo group called BP Skillz to teach others what she knew. That group grew from a few members to over 100's throughout the years. 20 years later she is still teaching a handful of people and still creating. She now owns and operates a social network for the old BP and MY SPACE  members that want to learn HTML or the basic PSP essentials to create tags and tubes.
